Stampin Up Stamps (Flurry of Wishes) MDF

Flurry of Wishes (MDF)

Hi to all you lovely crafty people out there........so how have you all been...busy I hope with all your crafty makes.
I've been looking at crafting with different materials but still using my lovely stamps......Plus I bought some MDF shapes in the summer ( yes they were christmas mdf)...but I put them away in my cupboard, until I found something to make with them...... So I painted the MDF with matt paint ( bought a test pot just incase it didnt  work)  but oh it did and I'm showing you the outcome.

so why don't you all have a go...take a mdf shape and paint it in any colour you like.......taking your versamark ink I put to straight onto the top of my bubble the versamark ink makes it sticky so your embossing powder will stick to......I used Pink from my crafty stash, if you have any in your crafty stash bring it out and use it your have lots fun.......So now I plugged in my heat gun and started to heat up the embossing powder ,I never get tired of watching it melt......once you have finished the top..now to use flurry of Wishes stamp set from stampin up.....I used the medium snowflake, I inked up the stamp and stamped it in the middle of the mdf bubble.....then I took my small snowflake and stamped on the edges of the bubble. Taking the embossing powder I poured  it all on the stamp then tipped it off onto paper and put back in the jar. Now the fun bit to heat up the embossing powder and watch the magic happened. Once it's all done you can use any kind of gem/gems to decorate the bubble.....then to pick a ribbon from your stash. Now you have a lovely tree decoration you can do both sides or you can write what year you made it......

So what colours would you use.....please pop along to my you tube channel and watch the magic happen So enjoyed making this super cute bubble hope you enjoy it as much I .

thanks for stopping by
happy crafting
god bless

Stampin up Gift Candle Holder using Flurry of Wishes stamp set

Gift Candle Holder

Hi to all you lovely crafters out there......
How's your week been....well I've been super busy......what with sorting more makes for my craft club.....plus doing private workshop but all great as I love to share with everyone....
Now to my make....I'm sure you must of had a little read of my blog on spooky makes...with the tea light holder well this is of the same but just a little bigger...

hope you enjoyed my youtube video on this make....but as promised I would put up all details on this lovely make....
Details as follows

You need to have the Banner dies from Stampin up....I used the Largest one and the next size down,
Very Vanilla card stock,
Home for Christmas DSP
Flurry of wishes stamp set with punch
Coastal Cabana (Retired) but can use Pool Party
Gems from your crafty stash
Start with your base..cut your Very Vanilla 5in x 5in (12.7cm x12.7cm)
Score at all four edges 1in (2.5in) once scored fold all edges and then in each corner you should have what looks like a little square......now you want to cut along the score line make a notch, turn clockwise and cut up and notch each corner...hope this makes some sense...........again fold all your corner and now put glue on those little squares start with your square on your left and fold and glue to the side on your right this should make a corner.....do this until all four corner are done...
Cut out four  Banners large 3in (7.8cm) in Very vanilla ,  Using your DSP cut four with next size down 2 6/8in (6.7cm) matt and layer your banners..using tombow glue( remember always use wet glue) as you want it to stick..now to stick the sides on to the base with wet glue......
Using Very Vanilla card stock stamp out your Lager snowflakes you will need four for the corners..and now you will need to cut them out...now to stamp your small snowflakes once stamped using your punch ...punch them all out i'm using the small snowflake for embellishment...
Large snow flakes  you will need to score down the middle and fold...once you have scored and folded them all glue them into place.....now to decorate and have fun...You could always pop along to my you tube channel josephine nairn and craft along with me...If you need any of the products I use i will be only to happy to help....
hope you enjoy this lovely make...I love using the banner die set...I always try and get as many designs out of them....and always using my crafty stash i bet you lovely people our like me..well hope this has inspired you to have a go and make some thing lovely yourself.

Have a great week until next time
Happy crafting

God Bless

Super Cute card using Stampin up flurry of Wishes

Flurry Of Wishes (cute little card)

Hi to all you lovely crafting people out there, sorry I have missed you all last week, but what with the internet soooo bad and have been very busy back to work....but had a great half term......now counting  the weeks till I go and visit my grandsons in Guernsey ( cant wait) will have to get so many cuddles in !!!!!!
Now what did I get up to over half term...well went to visit my lovely mummy and had such a great time...I even took a load of crafting goodies to have a play with...Mum design her own christmas card...plus she stamp her sentiment using stampin up products.......mum I known you check out my blog....but was a great time thank you from the bottom of my heart, we must always remember our lovely Mums oh and of course Dads but mine past away five years ago now but I know he walks with me ever day.
Now back to my make, this cute little card....using the large snowflake from the stamp set of flurry of wishes....
Thought I stamp it in the in colours Mint Macaroon just love this colour...
details of card as follows
Whisper white card stock 3in x 6in (7.5cm x15cm) score at 3in( 7.5cm) on the long side of the card so it is now in half.
Ink you large snowflake up and place it in the middle of the card then I put a gem from my crafting stash but you can use anything...sure you have loads of gems......
so the make the envelope cut a piece of envelope paper from stampin up in our large catalogue 2015/2016...using the in colours to match.....don't you just love the way stampin up just makes it all so easy for us all to craft with inks, card, embellishment, even paper to match oh not forgetting the ribbon.....and the way the stamps just stamp out so clear.....just love it all
so any way back to the envelope....
Details as follows
cut you paper 5in x 5in (12.8cm x 12.8cm)
using your enveloper punch board place your paper to the measurements of 2 5/8in(6.4cm) punch and score and turn then follow the score lines each in turn....once you have punched and scored all four side ...fold all the score lines into the middle and the envelope will take shape I used two way glue from stampin up which is just right for paper as tombow is to heavy glue.
once you have glued your enveloped you can now pop your cute card inside .
If you want to follow how to make the card pop along to my u tube josephine nairn channelhttps://youtu.be/ibJqyKN7kIE hope you enjoy watching it all come together.
I known some people out there will know how to make this but I'm just showing this for those of you and my craft club how it is all done.

So happy crafting thank you for popping by and reading my blog it means the world to me and I'm truly blessed

god bless
