Howz you week been, well I've had yet another busy week ,trying to pack boxes for our move in April.......

So dont you just love free items....just love this time of year with Stampin Up...Sale a Bration..when you spend £45 or more and get to choose a free item...just great for us crafty people:-)....

Now to my lovely card.....well I was meant to be in a challenge, but got carried away with making this cute card and forgot all about the challenge (trust me)

This card came about a very dear friend of over 10 years moved away and I wanted to send her a little card to just say Hello I'm thinking of you.....and this card was born

so the ingredients I used

Card stock

Blackberry Bliss

Sahara Sand

Very Vanilla

Ink

Blackberry bliss

Strawberry Slush (retired)

Embossing folder:Spring flowers(retired)

Stamp Sets

Perfect Pennants

Flowering Fields

Dies

2in Circle

Banner Dies very small one

Ribbon : blackberry bliss

Now to make a start with this cute card, cut card stock 11in x41/4 score it in half at 51/2 to make card base, Sahara sand card stock 5 inx 33/4 in, Very Vanilla 31/2 in x 43/4 in.......now take your very vanilla card stock and position your 2in  circle die to the left hand side and run through your big shot, and your very vanilla card should look like you have a window, put the circle to one side...your now going to put your very vanilla card  in your embossing folder( spring flowers) or one of your choice, then put this to one side, now to take you 2in circle and were going to start to stamp using your flowering fields stamp set, you choose which one you want to use.....but as you can see by the above picture.....which ones I like....plus they worked well. Once you have finished the stamping your ready to put the card together.....taking your Sahara Sand and your very vanilla card stock you going to glue them together with you embossing side up and put glue on your debossing side!!!!!! cut a piece of ribbon to the size to go around both cards and put some strong tape on the back to fix it on. Now to take you circle your going to put foam pads on back and then stick it in the middle of your embossing circle cut out. Now to make the Hello sentiment , take you perfect pennants stamp set its the small HELLO stamp and ink it up in blackberry bliss stamp onto very vanilla card stock, once its done cut out with the matching die.....I have added and cut out another banner from blackberry bliss card stock just to add dimension to the tag....add foam pads and stick on card then stick the whole card together and now you have this cute card. You can always go along to my you tube channel and craft along with me......what colours would you choose......and have a little look in your crafty stash to see what  you can make, using different stamps sets and embossing folders ...watch this space as I just might have to put on here some more....

Brick Wall Embossing folder plus Gorgeous Grunge stamp Set by Stampin Up

Male Birthday Card

Hi there to all you lovely crafters out there.....how are you all..happy crafting away and enjoying making crafty items.......

Well this week I've had to make two male birthday cards, one was for my father in- law who is a painter and decorate, so I came up with  this great little card, using brick wall embossing folder and gorgeous grunge, using the small splat stamp....ink I used was Real Red, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, with whisper white card stock.....but the main card I brought a set from a craft shop, you can always get a great deal in one of the superstores.....sometimes it saves time.

If you go onto my u tube I used Real red paper to matt my brick wall onto just to make it pop....but as you can see, one was for 60th birthday which was my brother, and one was for my father in-law.... I love them both, but you could always make one for a teenager  , I enjoyed making these great cards, so why dont you have ago using any embossing folders you have and see what you come up with.

hi to all you lovely crafty's out there...sorry bit late with my blog this week... have slipped a disc ....yes very painful in deed.......but with help from pain killers and loads of rest and great back doctor(well thats what I call him) lol......loads of little baby steps and excise......im getting there thank goodness...plus my lovely  friends sending healing prays.

I know little bit different....but I had great fun making the background card and then designing my makes.....

 Yes I used bloomin love stamp set from stampin up....which I love at the moment.....whisper white card stock, but on my utube video I used blushing bride  and melon mambo....so if you pop along to my channel and have a wee look josephine nairn......you will see I had fun...

I' sure all you crafters out there have stamps in your stash you love the most...so why don't you have a go and bring them out of you cupboard and play........ challege your self to see what you can make I would love to hear all about it....plus I have a facebook page josephines crafts......you could always leave a little message....short and sweet today...

Rolo gift holder using Stampin up products

Rolo Gift Holder

Hi to all you lovely crafters out there..... So how has your week been good I hope cant believe where January has gone already......

Hope you all enjoyed my last little make and it put a smile on your face plus if you watch me on you tube I always get something mixed up...But I have a laugh and enjoy my self making them ..that's what its all about ( well I think so ) I'm not a professional at all just a lady who loves to craft and share things...

So now to my make today...well my hubby brought some Rolos and said what can you make for these ...... so before he could eat them I came up with this little holder..with the help on a lady from Pootles Forum Laura Satterfield-Hiend..she made a gift holder for Sneekers bar at Christmas so thank you Laura, but I have changed it around and the measurements .

Ingredients

Blushing bride card stock 5 x 5 3/4in  (12.5cm  x14.5cm)

Love Blossom DSP 12.5 x 4cm ( 5 x1 3/4in)

Bloomin Love stamp set Real Red Ink

whisper white card stock

Punch Decorative lable

Score board

So once you have cut you card stock and you dsp to size , now time to take your score board with your blushing bride card stock and put the card stock length ways on you board, now to score,at 3/4 in (2cm) 1 1/2in (4cm)2 1/4in (6cm )3in( 8cm) 3 3/4in (10cm). once you have done all the scoreing  you should have five score lines.....  put the red double sided tape (needs to be strong)..   first score line/panel  put three bit of tape all the way along to the end...this will stick your card round your Rolo in a tube shape... you will have three sides / panels left ,third panel stick you dsp to then flip it over and put your larger piece of dsp to make front of gift holder...so recap one side should have dsp top 13/4 x 5 the other side you should have first panel double sided tape and third panel dsp hope your still with me  ha ha..... Now take your whisper white card stock and ink up your sentiment with real red ink, then take you punch and punch out your sentiment. then punch out another bit of card to use a matt and layer for your sentiment to go on.  then put dimensional on both sentiments ready to decorate, you could punch out hearts and embellishments what ever is in your stash.......so now to take your ROLO if you haven't eaten yet .....  and peel back the red tape half way down, so you have some tape to pull.....set your ROLO in side and place card round it and stick edge and carry on sticking....if you pull the tabs of stickie tape it should make it easy:-) once its all round you ROLO just make sure its all stuck down and then pop you sentiments on....

Well its coming up to Valentines day, so I'd thought i'd do a little card quick and very simply..... 

so hope you can join in with me and make one of your very own......i'm sure you have stamp which would read love you....and some sponge to use from your crafty stash ......everyone has red ink...and a heart die.....white card stock...

But as you all know I use stampin up products and just love them......

my ingredients for this little card is as follows:

Whisper white card stock 5x7 folded in half to get card size 31/2 x 5 (12.6cm x 17.7cm)

Heart  die ( from treat bag die set)

Real red Ink (or any red ink)

Dauber( or you can use any sponge)

Die cutting machine

Bloomin Love stamp set (wording Love you)

First sight (Stamp set) for the very small heart 

silver embossing powder

Versamark ink pad

Heat gun

Enveloper punch board and paper (From Stampin up)

so I think that's it........hope I haven't left anything out.....then all you have to do is go to my you tube channel and craft along with me (Josephine Nairn)

Hi and Very Happy New Year to you all

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year......I have been on my travels......but I had a fabulous time with my lovely family and very good friends.

I was a very lucky lady and got a new sewing machine...which I have played with a little but I promise to put some picture of makes on my blog.

So I thought I'd bring a little ray of sunshine to you all today as here in UK is raining.......

Stampin Up have a new catalogue  out Spring and Summer plus we have the great Sale a Bration.......when you purchase items over £45 you will get free item of your choice.....the great little cards above is from the Honeycomb Happiness free stamp set......I just love the way Stampin up have all there colors to coordinate card stock, ink, and DSP anyone can make a lovely little card...so which colour of ice cream do you like best I have mint macaron ,daffodil delight ,melon mambo......Why dont you all have a little play to see what you can make these little cards are 4x4 with mat and layer 31/2 then whisper white card stock 3x3 .....Im sending a stamp set to my daughter to have a play to see what she makes, plus I have a good friend who has this stamp set already so want to see the makes....
