Spooky Candle Holder
Hi to all you lovely crafty people out there....so hows your week been...I've had a busy one....I held a sewing evening for my lovely craft group and great time had by all.....
But now to my lovely spooky makes.....
So I'm using banner dies to cut out the shape... so versatile....this great set of six from stampin up..I used the third smallest for my make....
I used DSP (retired)
base 3x3in square, and scored it at 3/4in all four edges (7cm x 7cm and scored at 2.5cm on all four edges)
Then using the banner die cut out four
To make base...once scored, fold all the scored lines, at each corner you should have a small scored square.......then above the square there should be what would look like a cross.....cut up on the scored line up to the cross on your right hand, side then turn card stock 45 degrees, you now should be looking at your second scored box, cut up on the scored line to the cross, turn again do this until you have cut up all four corners, you should now have four flaps, if it make it easy, you can cut out small wedges where you have cut the lines this makes it easy to stick together....now to put wet glue on the tabs and fold each corner in...it should look like a nice sharp edge....once you have stuck all four down now to make the sides, with the banners all cut out you could punch out shape to make little window effects...then put wet glue on all four sides and stick the banners on the side of the base......you can decorate with anything from your crafty stash...
When trying to write down details in how to make this lovely little candle holder..its a real challenge
for me, hoping you understand...but you could always pop along to my you tube channel josephine nairn..and follow along with me and have fun...I love making video I'm trying to get better...but the internet here is so bad....it can take all day just to upload one small item...but hope you all enjoy them..
well hope you have great weekend and watch this space for more !!!!!

Happy Crafting
